How does STRONG by Zumba™ differ from a ordinary Zumba class? A traditional Zumba® class is based on the integration of dance and dance-type movements, creating a high-cardio, total-body workout.
STRONG by Zumba™ is a High Intensity Interval Training class using more traditional fitness moves for a more athletic, conditioning-style workout. You use your own body weight as resistance to achieve muscle definition. There are movements inspired by dance but these are limited compared to a Zumba® class, so it’s perfect for those not comfortable in a full-out dance class.

I work for NW police and after hearing about chic fitness Zumba classes in HQ Colwyn Bay, and other officers involved with the classes held by Chic, i thought i would try them out. I joined pole approx 12 months ago and have never looked back. It has improved both my strength and my fitness and has also increased my confidence. I first came across Chic Fitness in 2012 when i was promoting a charity event of my own. Instead of just taking my leaflet off me, the guys at Chic kept me for a short while to offer support and ideas to better my event. Not only did i get great advice and ideas from them but they even agreed to come down to my event and do demonstrations and help raise funds. And that is exactly what they did, they supported me the full day out of the goodness of there hearts. In terms of what they do i think its brilliant, they have women of all ages keeping fit and gaining confidence. Chic Fitness are great at what they do with amazing staff and great members
Hi Zoe, I just wanted to let you know how you've turned my life around I had been going through a particularly bad time with my sons health. I had very little time for me and needed an outlet. I had tried a couple of different classes but they weren't for me, then you were recommended to me !! titanium was the first song we zumba'd to and for as much as I got it wrong, your ever smiling face, positive attitude and support from yourself and your team inspired me to continue. I have kept my sanity (most of the time) , become fitter, made some lovely new friends, joined pole, made more lovely friends, gained a confidence in myself that had been missing for a long time !
